Wnycarpool.com is an online service which helps you find carpool partners. Unlike a rideshare bulletin board, carpool listing service or zip code matching service and your search will be HIGHLIGHTED. Once you sign-up for our free service you can automatically start searching (using our advanced search field) and posting.

If you commute 18 miles round trip and your vehicle is getting on average 21 miles to the gallon (at $3.99 per gallon), then you are spending approx. $11.34 per day to commute. Monthly: $249.48 Yearly: $2,993.76. This does NOT include parking and tolls.

The site is easy to use and you only need an email address. Very cool. I do work for a large company and I have given this information to my supervisor to pass along to other employees that are looking to carpool.
