BuffaloWiFi.org is a public/private effort to provide free wireless Internet access in public spaces using Wi-Fi technology. From making Buffalo Niagara more 'user friendly' to bridging the Digital Divide, Wi-Fi benefits everyone who uses it: students, tourists, 'road warriors,' researchers, business people, picnickers, professionals, and those with limited resources. We're enthusiastic about sharing Wi-Fi technology in our effort to improve and promote the Buffalo Niagara region.

In 2003, our first free Wi-Fi Hot Spot at Lafayette Square placed Buffalo in the company of many innovative communities. As more organizations have joined and contributed their resources, the reach of BuffaloWiFi.org has grown, too. We'd like to see that growth continue.
