BUFFALO BIG BEAT
"STICKING IT TO HUNGER"

Buffalo Drum Outlet is urging all drummers and percussionists to sign up for this international attempt to break the Guinness Book of World records, while raising money to stamp out hunger.

We are looking for at least 300 drummers and percussionists to attempt to break the world record for the most amount of drummers playing to the song “Louie, Louie” at the same time.

We will be competing with and against ten other five star drum shops across the United States and Canada, performing this all at the same time.

All proceeds will be given to Response to Love Center (a soup kitchen on Buffalo’s East side, and Mr. Holland’s Opus, (a national organization that provides schools with brand new band and orchestra instruments).

Participants pay a $10.00 entrance fee (or $10.00 worth of canned goods) and then try to collect at least $100.00 of donations from friends and acquaintances.

Prizes will be given for the drummers that collect the most amount of money.

This will all take place on Sunday November 2nd.

The first 200 registrants will receive a goodie bag featuring free drum products, and preferred placement (near the front) of the performance hall.

Local and national press is expected to cover this event.
